Wow! Spring is in the air and boy does it feel good. We took the hard top off our jeep this weekend, put the soft top on and off we went! Traveling on back roads and driving around enjoying the sunshine this weekend. It was wonderful!
To kick off spring, I have a really cool giveaway for you to enter. One of my great friends who has always been uber creative has started a business making beautiful, unique accessories. She is just so talented and to introduce herself and kick start her new venture, she is so generous and has designed some accessories to give away to a lucky winner! Her shop is Tiane Novati Modiste, a name she designed as a teenager when she realized one day she wanted to own a boutique. Each piece she makes his hand stitched and created. She will make custom what you need (which would be fabulous for a bridal party) or you can purchase pre-designed pieces from her Etsy shop. I had her make me 2 different floral headbands which i just love because a) because they are the perfect accessory when you want to add a little sass and b) because my head is just that odd-shaped and i actually don’t need Advil after wearing her headbands all day. Ladies, I know you know what i mean, can you say bonus?

Flipflops and not freezing every morning when I walk my dog…
Spring cleaning – sounds crazy, doesn’t it? We started with the yard this weekend, next up – hardwood floors!
I looove my flip flops, so as soon as the weather is above freezing and the snow is melted those suckers are on my feet! I also love bringing out all the patio furniture and the smell of the first BBQ!

Our “Saturday” morning routine to come back into summer mode. Wake up, head to the Farmer’s Market, grab all our produce for the week. Swing by a local coffee shop and get coffee for me and Adam and a special donut for Maddox. On the way home stop by the park and play until are hearts are content. Head home, make lunch, take a nap and enjoy the rest of the day.
P.S. tell Tara I am in love with the rose necklace!

My favorite part about spring is all the fresh fruits and veggies that will start popping up soon. I love spending the great spring weather walking around the farmer’s market.

There are two things that I love about Spring.
First, the buds on all the trees and bushes outside my house. The baby green grass…it’s one of my favorite colors, almost chartreuse!
But by far, my favorite thing to do is spend time outside with my dog Robby. Long walks, playing fetch, and practicing our training. It’s the best.
I am a high school teacher and i look forward to spring because i get to see how much my students have “grown” from the fall. They are a little more organized, more relaxed but most of all more confident in their ability to succeed! That and the fact that summer vacation is just around the corner!!
I love taking walks at night and enjoying the fresh smell of the blooming flowers
Taking my son out for his first long walk and showing him all the neat things around. Showing him the birds and flowers and watching him experience nature for the first time!
Flip flop, beautiful flowers, long walks, cool dips, bright green leaves returning to trees…
Really looking forward to lots of days at the park with my nearly 2 year old little boy. This house just can’t contain him and his energy anymore!
