Happy 4th Birthday to The Pink Orange!

Instead of my normal Friday wrap-up, I wanted to take this time to wish The Pink Orange an early Happy Birthday. Tomorrow The Pink Orange turns 4! I honestly can’t believe how fast time has flown, how much the business has grown and how many of the best clients a designer can have. Also, since November when I started blogging, the audience has grown steadily and your support both online and off have been truly amazing. So thank you, thank you to everyone! I truly appreciate it.

In honor of our birthday, (which by the way, my business shares a birthday with my husband) i have a fabulous giveaway for you! It is called Rebecca’s Favorite Things. Yup, just like Oprah. Here are some of my favorite things that i have previously featured on my blog.

What a fun giveaway!
My most memorable birthday had to have been when my husband planned a trip to the Grand Canyon for me. I had always wanted to go and it was a secret until we landed.
Happy Birthday to The Pink Orange! Congrats, Rebecca.
I have a lot of great birthday memories. I’ll go with the first year my husband and I were dating he & my best friends planned a surprise birthday luau party for me. I was totally surprised since it was a random year, “26″. lol
My most memorable birthday was my 24th. My boyfriend (now husband) and I went to NYC and did all of my favorite things. We went shopping, rode a carriage through central park, ate at amazing restraunts, saw a Broadway show, and stayed at a swanky hotel!
Great giveaway! Happy Birthday!!
Happy 4th Birthday to The Pink Orange and congratulations Rebecca.
I’m going to say my most memorable was when I turned 30. It was a big year and I decided it was the year I would make lots of changes. I bought a brand new car, I got a great new job, and it was a turning point in my life. It was also the year I met Rick and we’ve been together almost 12 years now.
Happy Birthday! My most memorable birthday was when I was six. My mom had planned a surprise princess-themed birthday party for me and I had no idea (obviously, because it’s not too hard to surprise a 6-year-old, but it’s remained my favorite birthday ever since)!
Happy Birthday my friend! So happy for you! Woohoo, Yippeee, Yay (insert happy dance)!
I will never forget my 30th birthday. I had just moved back home from Dallas and was ready to start a new chapter in my life. That journey led me to meeting my fabulous husband and so many self discoveries that unfolded along the way. My 30′s have been amazing on so many levels!
Awesome giveaway!
Congrats, Rebecca!! I remember my 12th birthday. My family took me and a friend to Yankee stadium. We saw Ricky Henderson walk in from the player’s parking lot and Tommy John signed my baseball. Im sure there was a hot dog or two thrown in there as well!
Ok. I feel old now.
Happy Birthday!!
Congrats Rebecca! Happy 4th birthday to your beautiful business!
My best birthday was last year for my 30th. My husband surprised me with tickets to see Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds live in Vegas! We had the greatest time!
Happy birthday pink orange!
Happy Birthday! Four years- what an accomplishment!
My most memorable birthday was 31st- it fell on the same day as the Ohio State v. Michigan game so I threw myself a huge party. So much fun and my team won!
My favorite birthday memory is from when I turned 21. I was dating my now husband, Steve, and he took me out to dinner. When we got there I found out that he had invited 4 of our friends along, too! After dinner we walked outside and a limo was waiting for us – the limo driver drove us into Philadelphia and around the city. We took some very funny pictures posing on the steps of art museum!
I never had anyone surprise me before and that was the first time I had ever been in a limo, too!
Happy Birthday! For my 21st, my husband (then bf) surprised me by inviting ten people to dinner. I thought it would be just the two of us. It was a super fun evening!
happy birthday, pink orange! you’ve grown so much in the short time i’ve known you and i can’t wait for everything else you have in store.
i love bdays, so picking one favorite is hard, but i think i’d have to choose 2008 b/c after a trying few months, it was great to be surrounded by loved ones. it was a very simple night, but it just meant the world to me!
Happy Birthday! My best birthday was my 10th. My birthday is in October and my mom planned bobbing for apples, eating donuts hanging from a string, etc. It was great!!!
Happy Birthday! I am a paper fanatic, what a fantastic giveaway!
My best birthday was probably in 6th grade when my friends threw me a surprise sleepover party. I will always have fond memories of the most fun I have had on a birthday, from gorging on junk food and staying up all night watching scary movies and gossiping – and I am still close friends with many of the girls, so it is fun to reminisce as well!
I’m new to your blog, but Happy Birthday!
My most memorable was probably my most recent. We were in South Africa for my best friend’s wedding and my birthday fell on the night of the rehearsal dinner. I had already accepted that this was not the place or time to celebrate me, but my friend surprised me with cupcakes that spelled out “Happy Birthday Laura” and everyone sang me happy birthday. I was so touched!
happy birthday! what an amazing giveaway! i don’t have a favorite birthday but i do have many wonderful birthday memories including, a canoeing party, ice cream cake, getting my license, gluten free sloppy joes, a party bus to hoboken, and many more…
yay for birthday’s!!!
my most memorable was a surprise extravaganza the hubs threw for me in mexico … it was absolutely incredible! and when i find myself getting irritated with that man of mine, i just take myself back to that surprise!

What a swanky swag bag!
Unlike lots of other folks, I actually remember my 21st b-day, and it was a pretty good one. I was in college, and my parents surprised me with balloons while i was at work. Then got my total tom-boy roommate to get dolled up and put on makeup and go dancing! Yay dancing!
Hmmm . . . my best birthday? It would either have to be the year I turned 7 and my dad acquired some real Woody Woodpecker films (yes, reel-to-reel) to show at my party . . . or my 15th, when my very first boyfriend dumped me a few days before it, and my mom surprised me with an awesome gathering of my favorite friends to cheer me up . . . or my 40th birthday (last year) when my hubby and kids seemed to stretch the celebration out for a full week! All at different phases of my life, but all memorable!!
Lovin’ the Rebecca’s Fave Things swag! Thanks for the chance!! Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday!!! And can I just say, “yes please!” to this amazing giveaway! Thanks for hosting such an awesome event!!
Two favs: 10th was my golden birthday and my cousin (who was 23 and SO cool) took me to the revolving restaurant he was a chef at in DOWNTOWN! How cool was is? (or at least I thought I was) Everyone in the kitchen even came out and sang to me!
My second favorite was my 30th…Hawaii with my hubby. It was so nice (even if we were stretching the finances a bit to go).
40 is in 2 years…wonder how that one will go down?
tweeted too!
I just realized I never signed up for this. My personal most memorable birthday was the only surprise party I have even been thrown. I had really thought my dad forgot my birthday and he had me wound up about it. Walking in to a room with Nemo balloons and streamers just made me giggle! (I was 22 at the time!) My dad was surprised I was fooled and told me he didn’t forget my birthday for 21 years, why would the 22nd make a difference? It was blissful.
party buses are the coolest vechicles on town, riding them is so much fun “”
