Helloooo! So sorry for the short absence. I was working hard on an amazing project with some fellow wedding peeps. Clark + Walker Studio, Katie O’ Events and Fleurtacious Designs. While i’m bound to secrecy right now, I can promise that the project won’t disappoint!
In trying to get back on track and prep for the photo shoot here next week of my studio, I wanted to share a few good font finds for you!
I am LOVING the serifs and contrast of the thin/chunky parts of Geotica. Almost reminds me of a modernized Bodoni. That is the only one you have to pay for, however at $16.50 it is a total deal! {kind of like finding a fabulous pair of shoes in the sale section}. Enjoy!

I have been anxious to share Melissa and Elliot’s save the dates with you! An elegant #10 size printed on double thick stock so that the beautiful blind deboss detail around the date stands out! The envelopes are an opal metallic and were just the perfect finishing touch for this May wedding!
Stay tuned as we start working in the invites! The ideas have been flowing!

Good morning my friends!
It is crazy that I just added that title to my blog post. So, when you think about the holiday season in numbers, we are just literally 6 weeks to 9 weeks out, depending upon which holiday you celebrate. So, as the heat was just turned on, the leaves are still changing colors and we haven’t seen a drop of now{yet} in Upstate NY, that doesn’t stop me and most others from getting a head start on holiday planning, shopping and of course CARDS!
So, without further ado, here is the very small {but sweet} line of holiday cards this year.
They will go fast like last year, so this year, i’m allowing for pre-orders! Email me at desgins@thepinkorange.com with Holiday pre-order in the subject line to reserve your quantities. Each design will be sold as singles or boxes of 6.

All cards are $4.00 for a single and $14.00 for a box of 6. Each is letterpressed onto beautiful Crane paper and comes with a matching envelope.

The first annual DIY wedding workshop is being held at The Hall of Springs in Saratoga Springs, NY. Together with the Capital District’s finest service providers, internationally known wedding planner, Lisa Light, will demonstate how to plan a fabulous, stree-free wedding.
Brides and their guests will sample fine food and spirits and will receive the knowledge, inspiration, referrals, resources and tools they need to plan the wedding of their dreams in the Capital Region.
Workshop runs from 9 am-5pm.

A classic martini. Yup, that is my cocktail of choice. What is yours? And why not serve them on custom letterpress coasters? So fun, various sizes and they can be totally unique! For a wedding favor, holiday party, save the date design or just for your own personal use with a monogram!

I love how the coaster for Alexis and David had their motif of birds on one side, and their signature cocktail on the other. The possibilities are endless! That is what makes them so unique.

A shout for stripes!

How cute are these stripes in this liner? Simple stripes, make me simply happy.
I designed this suite for a very cool and sassy step-mom of the groom. We have been having so much fun with all of the goodies for the rehearsal dinner too. I’ll have to post the coasters, hangtags and favors when they are done!
I also just love the vintage fork and spoon used on the stamps! Can’t go without the custom postage my friends!
