I know i probably sound like a broken record, but i truly and madly love what i do! I have so much fun with all of my clients! Brides however, are just the cherry on the pudding. OK, pretty corny, but true. Designing for a wedding is just such a different vibe than any other type of design i create.
However, fun doesn’t begin to describe Tiffany. And her mom? Forget about it. Mia was just as much fun. I think my sides hurt from laughing so hard with these two at our initial design meeting. Anyway, design has begun and this is seriously going to be an amazing suite. I have already sent Tiffany a couple of teaser images because i just couldn’t help myself. Think vintage circus, with dramatic flair, a burst of color and some surprises up their sleeves for guests.

I remember way back when, before I met my husband, cringing at the very arrival of February. Another Valentine’s Day without that special someone. My single girlfriends and i would have our own celebration and go out to dinner on our own. We did have so much fun together, but in thinking back about all the “mushy”, love cards out there, when designing cards for my letterpress line, i decided that there needed to be a card for all the single ladies out there! Valentine’s Day or not, sometimes, a gal needs a pick-me-up!

The Slip-its are back!

So, after my new February desktop and after i admitted how much i love Valentine’s Day, what better timing to bring back the slip-its! They are a new size {just slightly shorter} with new colored envelopes and new packaging. They are much easier to stash and use one for that special someone. Oh! And did i mention the reduced price? The snow is falling {again} the temps keep dropping, but i have visions of beaches and sunshine dancing in my head! I love that February is a short month and it brings us one {quick} month closer to spring! I love February, because yes, it is Valentine’s Day month {read month, not day} and the hopeless romantic in me loves celebrating this “so called” Hallmark holiday.
The new February desktop was designed this month by Nicole, my intern who has since left, {and golly i miss her} and is studying in London. She so graciously put this together! I love the crispness, the dainty flowers and the saying that gets us prepped for spring! Especially those getting bombarded with all of this snow. I also love it too, because the color scheme is going to bring in hints of fabulous things to come this spring for The Pink Orange!
