Hi all! I know my posts have been far and few between lately, but for good reason! Pretty soon, i’ll fizzle them out all together as I work on the new website and ready-to-order line. In the meantime, I still have some posts that I would like to share and a survey as well. But, in the meantime, I wanted to share some free fonts. I realized it has been a bit since I have posted some goodies for you!
Enjoy!

A collegiate style invite

Happy Monday my friends and happy first full day of spring. Although, looking out the windows today, i’m not so sure spring has sprung! With the snow falling and what little green we have on the ground being covered up again i feel as if we are reverting back to winter!

I have a new invitation design to share today. This was designed for RPI. I have done some really fun projects for them in the past and this was no exception. I designed this invitation to resemble a collegiate folder. The paper even has a traditional folder texture to it and Silk screened in a beautiful silvery/white color. The front cover has a die-cut to expose the title of the luncheon.

Once opened, the text is exposed on both sides. The envelope is a beautiful gray linen with silk screened print as well!

Now is the time to stock up on some cards. I can’t even breathe when I look at photos and think about what Japan is going through right now. It really puts so much in life into perspective for me. I really want to help and i want to give you all an incentive to help too! All sales, all day today will 100% be donated to the American Red Cross relief efforts. I will tally up the total at the end of the day and announce tomorrow!

A fun pop of color

Happy Monday all! I hope you had a great weekend.
This invitation was designed for a surprise 40th birthday party. Rebecca, the guest of honor has contemporary taste, loves flowers and butterflies and bright pops of color! So, in talking to her sister-in-law about the design, we came up with an abstract floral pattern to use and then added the complimentary envelope liner. And of course, the custom postage!

Good morning! The next few weeks around here are going to be bustling with fantastic posts of new designs, a poll and some updates on where the New Year is taking us. I’m so excited to share with you all. Thank you for all the love for Rachel and Keith’s save the dates. They were such a hit on Facebook!

In the meantime, I wanted to share a new website design with you all. Deborah DePasquale Designs was just launched on Friday. You might remember her logo and printed material I designed? To round out Deborah’s new studio space, I also designed her website and Collin of Freshrr was amazing and developed the site for us! Take a peek and enjoy!

Pub inspired save the dates

Thu

I have been excited to show these off! When Rachel and I first met, i knew it was going to be so much fun! She expressed her love for stationery and entertaining. She reminded me of myself when talking about all the thought and details she puts into parties at her home. I knew working with her was going to be a blast. She and her fiance Keith are both in the restaurant business and Keith is Irish who’s family still owns a pub in Ireland to this day. Once we discussed all of these details, i just knew they had to play a role in the design of their save the dates. The result? A chalkboard inspired save the date with their story hand lettered and then reversed letterpressed onto double thick paper.

It was then backed with speckled brown paper to create the order of the chalkboard. A  Guinness inspired logo that we will carry throughout her other printed pieces for their wedding.

As if that part isn’t cute enough, I love the striped envelope liner to resemble a tablecloth and the top loading envelope for something fun and unique!

Keep your eyes out for her invitations and fun accessories!
