So close now!
Happy Friday all!
The last few weeks have been so exciting! The beta site is being reviewed, the ready-to-order line samples are being letterpressed and the packaging for the collection is being delivered! The launch is just a few weeks away now and I’m so giddy with excitement. The past year has been such an joy to work through the blood, sweat and tears. I can’t wait to share the results with you all!
I’m most excited for the unveiling of the ready-to-order line. This will be available to order through the new website, or by visiting the studio where you will be able to view each of the 24 collections and touch and feel the papers and see the marvelous colors. However, don’t fret if you aren’t local. You will be able to order sample packages so you can have the same touch/feel experience from afar!
Right now, you have a chance to win a $500.00 gift certificate to the new line by running in the I-Do Dash, put on by the New York Wedding Boutique. But don’t worry. You don’t have to be engaged to run, everyone is welcome! Plus, the bonus is that all prizes are transferable, so get your friends to run and maybe they will win for you!
So, keep your eyes peeled for a launch date, ‘like’ us on Facebook and sign up for our newsletter for updates and exclusive previews. There will also be details coming soon for a launch party to introduce the new line of stationery and so you can all celebrate with us!
Have a fabulous weekend and stay safe with the storm.
We are taking a blogging hiatus
As you may (or may not) have noticed, the blog posts have been stretched out pretty thin lately. There is good reason, I promise. We have been working hard on the new website. While it is not ready to launch just yet, we have been spending countless hours making it everything we dreamed of, plus some! In order to do that, we will be taking a blogging break to better focus and balance all the fun happenings in the studio.
We will still be posting some updates and sneak peeks on our Facebook fan page so be sure to ‘like’ our page and for the most recent updates, be sure to sign up for our newsletter right here.
In the meantime, here are some sneak peeks of the goodies. I promise, it will be worth the wait!
Happy May!
Just a couple of days early, but since the 1st falls on a weekend, I wanted to post early. Here’s to a fabulous May for all of you!
Enjoy!

A vintage circus wedding…
This is what Tiffany described to me as her theme adding in gold, black, red and drama! (And lots of it). I loved Tiffany’s energy from the minute she walked into my studio and I knew I had met probably one of the most energetic brides ever! Add in her mom’s energy and it was a double dose of pure fun with paper. We talked about all the fun details to incorporate and sketched some thoughts that day. Then, they left and i put my creative cap on and went to work!
You might remember the tidbits from my sketchbook? The design came together just I had envisioned and it is one of my favorites!
It all started with a custom, letterpressed pocket fold to hold all of the pieces of her invitation suite.
Add an invitation with plenty of fonts, flourishes and fun!

Custom envelope liners, painted gold edges and custom postage to top it all off!

Tiffany’s wedding is going to be nothing short of amazing! I can’t wait to see photos.
On another note, thanks to all for filling out the survey from this week. I would still love about 30-40 more responses so I have enough information to make the best line of invitations. So, please feel free to pass the link along to anyone who might be able to submit information! It is much appreciated.
This will one of the last posts before I go on a hiatus while focusing on the new site and the ready-to-order line. What a way to end posting for now!
Reader survey
As we move full force into the new website design and our ready-to-order collection, we are gathering information from you! We would love additional information from past brides, current brides and even mother-of-the-brides! We are doing our best to gather the most recent information regarding purchasing invitations and would love your help.
You can take the survey here.
All information collected is private, not used for anything other than research to be able to offer a fantastic line of invitations for all the paper lovers out there! However, if you leave your email address, you will be entered into a drawing for a package of letterpress goodies from our boutique for taking the time to enter. (Drawing will be held once survey is closed).
(Email addresses will be used solely for the purpose of entering the contest, not for mailing lists. Only completed surveys will be entered).
A bi-coastal wedding
One of my favorite parts of being a designer is the concept phase. Well, the concept phase and then seeing the creations coming to life in the end!
If you have followed along with the tidbits from my sketchbook, you might remember this one. A fun couple with a wedding ceremony and small, intimate reception in California, and then a month later, a large reception here in Saratoga, NY.
The design at hand, was to create a save the date that would translate between both places, while making each location unique. We played off of each state flower (the poppy for California and the rose for New York) and incorporated postage pieces for each state.
We also designed a monogram that will be used on all printed pieces for both receptions.

We have started the concepts for the sets of invitations now and I love all the details that are coming together! Combined with their planner Katie from Katie O’ Weddings and Events, these events are sure to knock your socks off!
An Elegant NYC invitation
Good morning!
RPI puts on some fantastic events, and i’m so lucky to design for the event groups there. Some past designs include a double sided letterpress invitation, a fun with numbers invitation to honor a past member of the Board of Directors and of course the fabulous die cut program for that event at the holiday season this past December.
This most recent project was for an elegant, oversized invitation for a party in NYC at The Plaza to honor the philanthropists to RPI. Heavy ivory stock combined with raised gold and black ink give the feeling of simplistic elegance.
