Now is the time to stock up on some cards. I can’t even breathe when I look at photos and think about what Japan is going through right now. It really puts so much in life into perspective for me. I really want to help and i want to give you all an incentive to help too! All sales, all day today will 100% be donated to the American Red Cross relief efforts. I will tally up the total at the end of the day and announce tomorrow!

Back to school essentials

Oh yes, it is that time of year again. The big yellow bus, new clothes, sneakers and shoes oh my! Brand spanking new pencil cases and lunch boxes galore. I happened to love all of this, but to be honest? My favorite part was the school supplies!! My mother should have guessed way back when that i was going to have a career with paper. I was like a kid in a candy store picking out new pencils, erasers and folders. Remember the Trapper Keeper? Ahhh… memories.
I used to select my mother’s coveted wrapping paper instead of the brown paper bags to cover my books. I would then cover that with clear sticky paper so my hard work wouldn’t be destroyed. I usually re-wrapped a couple of times a year. If i did use brown paper bags, they were covered in sketches and the names of my bff’s in bubble letters, then decorated with stickers. { You got it, puffy, flats, and scratch-n-sniffs}.
So, in the spirit of back to school from a paper lover, i scoped out a handful of back to school essentials. Enjoy!

Oodles of activities

Who doesn’t love a good activity book? So reminiscent of my travels as a little girl in my parents station wagon. Sometimes, I would sit in the “way back” as we used to call it. More room and plenty of space for games and books like this. If you subscribe to Veer, you might have received this in the mail already. If not, you must sign up for your copy of this book filled with images, fonts and amusement. {My husband thought it was perfect for the ahem…. bathroom}.
Or.. you can have fun playing online! Check this out! {just don’t let your boss catch you playing}
