it’s a wrap!
Wow! The first week of March 2010 is O-V-E-R. It felt like the longest week ever since my husband was away in San Francisco. In the 6 years we have been together, we have only been apart for a few days at a time. This was hard and the time change made it worse. But…I made it! (He said he bought me some goodies and I asked him to pick up a few things for the nursery from Urban Outfitters, so I’m happy).
I hope you all enjoyed your week as well, and for those of you who might have missed something, a quick recap:
* Did you grab the spring-like plaid desktop? Get it here.
* A sneak peak at concept boards that I was working on for a presentation of invitations.
* If you are engaged, you must check out this link for adding to the crane chandelier.
* Crazy cool music posters by artist Jason Munn.
For those of you who bake, have you ever checked out Bakerella? Even if you don’t, just to look at the amazing creations on this blog is worth your time. I promise!
I hope everyone has a great weekend. I’m looking forward to next week and some new projects along with a week-long stretch of weather in the 40’s!
it’s a wrap!
I can’t believe the last week of February 2010 is coming to a close. Why is it that when you are so young time seems to crawl by and when you are old older, time seems to fly and you just beg for more hours in the day?
It has been an extremely busy week here at the studio. Some things i can share, some things i can’t {yet} but don’t worry they will be worth the wait.
I’m practically busting at the seams to share!
In the meantime, here is a quick recap of the week:
* For some stylish office organization, check out these links.
* For some new letterpress business card collateral, check out these designs!
* Oh boy… a simply beautiful beach themed invite sneak peek here.
* This week’s designer file featuring Jessica Constable and her amazing jewelry was featured yesterday.
I also wanted to share this site i recently stumbled upon featuring some gorgeous handmade items. I hope you enjoy it!
I hope you all have a great weekend with lots of fun plans. See you all next week!
it’s a wrap!
So the first week of the Olympics is wrapping up and I have to admit, I haven’t watched much at all. I’m a tad sad, but there are some good reasons why! I can’t say why (yet) but you will understand when I do! How was your week? Any big weekend plans?
* This week, I received both Deborah’s business cards and business cards that I designed for Ketan Vakil in NYC. Birds of a different feather, so I’m anxious to share the contrast. I didn’t want to post them just yet, because Ketan just received his last evening and Deborah is getting hers today.
* The beauty of an ampersand is right here!
* And speaking of text and fonts…get your helvetica cookie cutters here. I know my name is on the wait list!
* A Real Party: Baby Shower reveal was just plain ducky. Check here for the details.
Have a magnificent weekend everyone and enjoy yourselves.
Next week i’ll be showing off the business cards, a sneak peek at some new work, and also a quick peek at a beach wedding in May!
it’s a wrap!
Have you unburied yourselves from the outrageous amounts of snow if you got it? Are you keeping warm so far this February for those reading in the chilliest areas, and to those reading in the warmest areas of the country- well, i’m just a tad jealous right now. I could use a good dose of warmth (other than the fireplace)! I will admit though, I do enjoy the Olympics, so what a great way to kick off the games then with some flurries in the air?
This week was busy and productive and i hope yours was as well! Here is the recap:
* I received an invitation suite from my printer that ROCKS! I can’t wait to photograph and show it to you.
* I also received Deborah’s business cards and they are amazing!
Those too, i can’t wait to share.
* I couldn’t resist sharing more card designs so I revealed them here and here.
These are all part of the Ellie bird line, named after my niece of course.
* I was a guest blogger on b*Spoke and shared instructions for a DIY initial door wreath.
Read the article here.
* A fun alternative to the classic guest book.
* Some fun eye candy for you!
Enjoy your weekend everyone!
Are you doing anything for the opening celebration tonight for the Olympics? What is your favorite sport to watch?
It’s a wrap!

Happy February! I hope your first week was phenomenal. A busy, busy week here at the studio and lots of great projects happening. I can’t wait to share them all. In fact…i think i just might reveal some more cards next week. After talking with one of my favorite bloggers, Cyd of The Sweetest Occassion, she pretty much told me she wants one of each! So i think i want to share more designs with you. In the meantime, a quick recap:
* If you missed the “oh so pink” February desktop, get yours here.
* When Ellie stayed with me last weekend we made some V-Day treats and you can download the gift tags here.
* A Valentine’s Day of a different color that featured an engraved invitation and a “not so traditional” color scheme for a Valentine’s Day wedding.
* Then the fun, double sided letterpressed invitation for RPI.
* Links to share with you: One of my favorite (and daily visits) is Oh. Joy. She also writes Happy Lady Eats. Check them out! Also, for some fashion inspiration and some great chics, Crowded Closet is a must read!
Have a great weekend everyone. Enjoy the super bowl if you watch, be safe and make sure you relax! Create some peaceful mental images this weekend.
it’s a wrap!
I can’t believe we have come upon the last few days of January so quickly – and all of a sudden, the coldest here in the great Northeast. I’ll be logging off early today to pick up my niece Ellie for a weekend sleepover. Oh boy do we have plans! We will be very busy ladies and will even have some projects to share. Until then, here is a weekly recap!
* This week’s Designer File featured Jessica Gonacha Swift, an amazing illustrator.
* I was excited to receive the new issue of Well Wed magazine that had some features of my work, in addition featured the Slip-its as a fun gift idea!
* I was so honored to be included as one of Well Wed magazines top picks of talented professionals. See the article here.
* I I had some fun shopping for a rubber address stamp. I’ll let you all know what i decide. I think i’ll get Christopher’s thoughts too. I mean, he does live here too. ![]()
* Of course one of my favorite posts this week was the unveiling of Deborah’s logo! I can’t wait to share the cards and accessories with you all.
I hope everyone has a really great weekend. Next week i’ll have the new desktop design for February and some weekend projects with Ellie to share! Stay warm and have fun.
I think i just blinked and this week flew by. First off, i can’t believe that there is only one more week left in January and the warmth the past couple of days reminds me of a spring thaw! I love spring, so of course, i can’t wait. I’m excited to run outside again and try some new things this spring. Travel and experience.
We have hit week 16 in our wait for a baby (but who’s counting?) and a new nephew came into our family yesterday! I have made a sleepover date with my niece Ellie and we have lots planned! Here is the weeks recap:
* This week’s Designer File featured Jeremy Brandrick, an amazing wedding dress designer.
* Looking for some “earthy” ideas for your wedding? Check these ideas out.
* Want to know what “type” you are? Take this test by Pentagram Design. It is so fun and i love hearing all the results. (so leave your answer for me).
* I finalized my friend Deborah’s logo and designed her business cards! They are so her, so fun and I am just loving the result. I’ll post for you next week!
* Here are a few amazing links for you – 2 Fresh Threads for some fun loving baby and lady goods, Polly George handmade butterflies and beautiful and artistic images by Love. Obsess. Inspire.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone! Next week i have a great designer file, Deborah’s logo and some other goodies up my sleeve. I’ll see you all then.
