It’s not just for lovers

I remember way back when, before I met my husband, cringing at the very arrival of February. Another Valentine’s Day without that special someone. My single girlfriends and i would have our own celebration and go out to dinner on our own. We did have so much fun together, but in thinking back about all the “mushy”, love cards out there, when designing cards for my letterpress line, i decided that there needed to be a card for all the single ladies out there! Valentine’s Day or not, sometimes, a gal needs a pick-me-up!

Holiday jewelry picks

Hello my friends! I have been pretty crazed with holiday projects, custom cards and a super cool program to coordinate the the invitation i designed for RPI. So far, the season has been busy and fun! In the first week of the Christmas season, i attended 2 holiday parties and i still have one more this week! I also attended a Stella & Dot party last week with my friend Alisha. I had never been, but holy cow! I was easily addicted to all the pretty things. I went with every intention of Christmas shopping, but you know how it goes. “one for them, one for me!” It made me think of how many people i wanted to purchase jewelry for this year, so i put together some of my favorite picks from Stella & Dot, but also a few from my friend Jess L.C. and my friend from Urbanite Jewelry.

I sure hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving weekend! I did, and it was awesome to see my family, some friends and I had fun shopping on black Friday also. First time ever that I ventured out into the crowds that day, but we got a bunch of shopping accomplished and came out unharmed. ;-)

Thanks for all who ordered their cards, and for those who missed it, and prefer online shopping, the deal is still on for you! You can still enjoy the 20% off letterpress cards from the boutique through today. Enjoy!

I have been so excited to share some wonderful news with you! The Pink Orange is moving locations and it is such a fabulous change that will benefit current and future clients!

We are moving to 20 Washington Street in Ballston Spa, NY from Schenectady, NY and this move is happening because of such great clients and the growth of the business.

The new space will offer more samples, a bigger meeting area and a more central location. Also, the letterpress stationery line will be available for sale!

The work and needs of all existing clients will remain priority through the entire process. This move will only mean good things & I’m thrilled to share the new space with you all!

We will be hosting an open house soon, so keep your eyes out for details! We look forward to seeing you there!

card love at Greer Chicago

I’m so thrilled to announce that this holiday season, you will be able to grab some letterpress cards at Greer Chicago! I first “met” Chandra, the owner of Greer back in November. I say “met” because we hit it off instantly on Twitter, like we had known each other for years. We then chatted on the phone for a bit and realized how very parallel our lives are. I wish i could carry Chandra around in my pocket!

We then decided to meet in person at the National Stationery Show and i was so excited! With so much going on, her trip in from Chicago to do all of her buying and meeting, we were able to make time to give each other a hug and have a quick chat!

Here we are!

I love her website and look forward to visiting Chicago and seeing my designs in person! If you live in the area, be sure you stop in and check out her store! She is always chatting about the unique goodies she is carrying. If anything, Chandra will put a smile on your face!
