THE PROCESS
Step 1
Part of creating the perfect piece for your event is getting to know you. So the initial meeting is important so I can gather the best information about your event, your color scheme, your tastes and the overall “look” you are trying to accomplish. Part of the initial meeting, whether in person or by phone is a brainstorming session of ideas. I will show you past designs and printing methods used.
Step 2
Once the information is gathered, the next step is the conceptual stage. I will present to you 2-3 concepts based on our intial meeting. Once a concept is chosen, a deposit is required along with a signed cotract and the text to be used in your pieces.
* The design phase is started only when a deposit is received and text is submitted*
Step 3
The Pink Orange will provide you with at least 2 design ideas for your review based on your choosen concept. This is where the fun REALLY begins! The paper, color and embellishments come together! You will also have the opportunity to provide feedback and identify any changes you want to make or new ideas you may wish to incorporate into the final draft.
After we discuss your comments, the changes are integrated into a revised version that is submitted to you for approval.
Step 4
Once the final version is signed off on, your design will go to print.
Depending upon the type of printing you choose, that will dictate the time frame for printing of your pieces.
*A 3-6 month time frame is typically required for custom work. We recommend mailing invitations 6-8 weeks before the rsvp date. So please allow ample time when ordering. Rush jobs can be done for an additional fee*
