DIY: Fabric patterned seating cards
Happy Monday everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderfully relaxing weekend. We had a great time in Cooperstown with some long overdue rest and relaxation and then finished off the weekend with my parents visiting.
Just a reminder- don’t forget to enter the Happy Birthday giveaway from Friday to help celebrate The Pink Orange’s birthday!
Now, onto this cute DIY project from Martha Stewart.

The list of tools is short and you can download the plain or formatted cards if you choose to have a calligrapher write each name. For the entire “How To” instructions, click here.
Green is in!
Hello and happy Monday! Did the weekend really go that quickly? In the blink of an eye it was gone. Although, i did do lots of little projects, so i suppose that is one of the reason’s why. And.. i’m already looking forward to this weekend. Not only is it my husband’s birthday, but it is also the 4th birthday of The Pink Orange! Yay!
Ok, so onto one of the projects i did this weekend. Remember this last week?
Well, i screenprinted the canvas bag! Perfect for the farmer’s market this summer and just quick trips to the market or wherever i want to take it. I love that it has the nice chunky handles and a gusseted bottom. Plus- the bonus? Pockets on the inside!

Have a fabulous Monday and a great week!
DIY: Stenciled glass bottles
Lately, I have been really obsessed with monograms. For me, for my husband and for our future child. I would monogram everything if i could. My husband said to me yesterday…”Easy lady, easy.” Well, we have these really great contemporary wood boxes left from our wedding that I want to use, so I decided to monogram them and use them on our freshly painted mantel or the dining room table. I can’t wait to share.
Then…yesterday, I stumbled upon this new blog “I do” it Yourself and saw the cutest project for stenciled table numbers. It reminded me of my mini-project and how easy it can be to decorate the simplest of items. Sure, for a wedding they would be great, but even in your own home as a cluster of centerpieces, place settings or on a porch with your house numbers.
For the instructions, check out Savvy City Farmer. I would love to know who ended up doing this project and what you did with your bottles! So please share once you do. It is a great rainy Saturday project.
