Elegant save the dates
I have been anxious to share Melissa and Elliot’s save the dates with you! An elegant #10 size printed on double thick stock so that the beautiful blind deboss detail around the date stands out! The envelopes are an opal metallic and were just the perfect finishing touch for this May wedding!
Stay tuned as we start working in the invites! The ideas have been flowing!

2010 Holiday cards!
Good morning my friends!
It is crazy that I just added that title to my blog post. So, when you think about the holiday season in numbers, we are just literally 6 weeks to 9 weeks out, depending upon which holiday you celebrate. So, as the heat was just turned on, the leaves are still changing colors and we haven’t seen a drop of now{yet} in Upstate NY, that doesn’t stop me and most others from getting a head start on holiday planning, shopping and of course CARDS!
So, without further ado, here is the very small {but sweet} line of holiday cards this year.
They will go fast like last year, so this year, i’m allowing for pre-orders! Email me at desgins@thepinkorange.com with Holiday pre-order in the subject line to reserve your quantities. Each design will be sold as singles or boxes of 6.
{1} Holiday Tress {2} Oh Chanuka {3} Holiday Bells {4} Christmas Ellie bird
All cards are $4.00 for a single and $14.00 for a box of 6. Each is letterpressed onto beautiful Crane paper and comes with a matching envelope.
Get you early orders in!
Up, with a twist!
A classic martini. Yup, that is my cocktail of choice. What is yours? And why not serve them on custom letterpress coasters? So fun, various sizes and they can be totally unique! For a wedding favor, holiday party, save the date design or just for your own personal use with a monogram!
Here are a few of my favorites that I have designed for clients:
I love how the coaster for Alexis and David had their motif of birds on one side, and their signature cocktail on the other. The possibilities are endless! That is what makes them so unique.
A number fusion

This is the second invitation that i have designed for RPI. {The first was here}. This invite was created to honor Samuel Heffner and his time serving with the Board of Trustees. He served for 33 years, however 15 of those were spent as Chairman of the Board. I thought it would be fun to fuse the numbers together to create an elegant border down the side of an oversized invitation. They are blind debossed onto such gorgeous heavy paper. I love the final results and can’t wait for the team at RPI to see the final product!
A friendly spider
Hi everyone!
Sorry for missing the past few days. I was battling a bad cold and moving into the new studio! Which, I just love! I can’t wait for everyone local to stop in. As I accessorize and get everything ready for the open house i’ll keep posting more photos if you want to see.
In the meantime though, I have a new card design to share. Fall is officially in the air which means pumpkins for decor and eating and drinking, which leads to Halloween! I am really not a fan of spiders, at. all. However, I couldn’t help to illustrate a friendly little guy with googly eyes to get everyone in the mood for the first fall holiday. You can get yours in the boutique or in our new studio at 20 Washington Street, Ballston Spa, New York.
{ Sold as single cards or a boxed set with matching envelopes }.
It’s a Wrap!
Good morning my friends! Can you believe we are in the ninth month of the year? We are more than half way through, and officially closer to Christmas (yikes) than not. As probably the last week of summer weather too, it was such a beautiful week. Great meetings with clients, friends and mentors. There is so much happening and i’ll be excited to share with you all! You just have to hang tight for a teeny bit.
In the meantime, I am still accepting resumes and portfolios for an intern!

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday weekend. Be safe, have fun and make sure to take life in!
Pimp a pink harley
After Angela saw my post showing off Leslie’s custom notes, she contacted me to create a personal note for her too! I couldn’t resist using hot pink which i know Angela loves and mixing it with a hand illustrated Harley. She and her husband ride all summer long! So a nice mixture of color and imagery to express their personalities. {oh! And Angela tells me that Jerry likes pink too!}
