Pimp a pink harley
After Angela saw my post showing off Leslie’s custom notes, she contacted me to create a personal note for her too! I couldn’t resist using hot pink which i know Angela loves and mixing it with a hand illustrated Harley. She and her husband ride all summer long! So a nice mixture of color and imagery to express their personalities. {oh! And Angela tells me that Jerry likes pink too!}
A twist of sherbert
I”m thrilled to share some fresh, new printed goodies with you! You all might remember the logo reveal and business card reveal for Deborah DePasquale Designs? We have been working on an entire line of custom printed materials for her, including note cards, client folders, envelopes and stickers! {i think i have expressed how much i just loooove stickers}!
The notecards are simply beautiful printed on double thick stock with rounded corners and painted edges. It is a small details like those that give the pop and wow factor! Client folders are 9″ x 12″ and have a business card slot on the inside. A perfect spot to tuck documents, contracts and inspiration materials. Also, a fun #10 envelope with a printed back flap. I just love her logo colors… it truly is a twist of sherbert.

Letter love
Remember our birthday back in April and the awesome giveaway? Well i packed everything up and shipped to Leslie last week! I am so in love with her simple cards to send a letter, love note or simple hello. They were letterpressed with the sweetest penmanship font in the lightest of grays. Once i received them and showed them off, i was able to design more for a handful of peeps. I love them and kept putting designing my own on the back burner! Not so much… mine are in the works with a custom monogram for me and my husband!
Leslie, I hope you are enjoying all of your goodies!

New card designs
Good morning!
I wanted to share with you two new card designs. Part of “The Yearly’s” collection, I designed these anniversary cards. One was inspired by one of my favorite brides, Alexis. You might remember her and her bird motif from this real wedding feature. Well I just loved the blue birds so much, I carried the idea over for an anniversary card!
card reveal #2 (the forgotten bird)
Yesterday after I revealed the Ellie bird series, I met my friend Deborah for a yummy lunch. (I swear I could write an entire post on how delicious our lunch was….seriously). Anyway, we got talking and I realized how I had totally forgotten to present to you the birthday Ellie! So here she is:
I have to give credit to my niece though. She specially requested Ellie birthday bird with a striped hat on. So my little love, if mom is reading this to you, thank you for the idea.
Her birthday was a couple of weeks before she came to stay with me. I mailed her gift to her so she didn’t have to wait until she came. I also printed out the Ellie bird and made her a card to go along with the gift. She then called me to Thank me when she received it and here was the conversation:
Ellie: Hi Aunta Rebecca (yes, she adds the ‘A’, how cute is that)?
Me: Hi Ellie
Ellie: Thank you so much for my gift and card. I love it. I think the bird should have a birthday hat on!
Me: With polka dots?
Ellie: No stripes Aunta Rebecca.
Me: OK! Sounds great.
And that is the simple, but adorable story of how my 7 year old niece gave me her creative direction.
