New month, new desktop

A new year brings new goodies. New resolutions, new skills. New organization and new clothes. This new year, a new decade! Funny enough, as you actually say the words…”two thousand and ten”, in a world of acronyms, quick talk and text i find it to be quite a mouthful. So i have been saying the new year as “twenty-ten”. I mean, it makes sense right? We use LOL, OMG, WTH, C-U Soon, and so on… so why not just shorten it to twenty-ten?

The other night, Christopher and i were watching the evening news and there was actually a poll on Facebook and Twitter about how people would say this mouthful of a year. It was pretty close. I am still sticking with “twenty-ten”. (Just sounds sassier).

So for the new month and new year, i played off of how i intend to say the year and added it to a quick calendar for your desktop. Get yours here.

So now that it is December and as i type this i can look out my studio window and see flurries, it feels fitting to share a desktop wallpaper i designed last night.
